Archived Information:

NOTE: In this section you will find older information and initiatives of SOMA from 2018 backwards. With much regret, the old platform was incapable of storing very much at all and most of the really old material from SOMA’s inception in November 2013 was lost.

Information here is in descending order, with the oldest material at the bottom of the page.

The diversity of knowledge and experience of SOMA members allows students from other organizations to benefit from a cross-pollenation of different techniques to which they may otherwise not be exposed to.

CIRCA 2016 – TEACHING CLASSES AT SOMA AFFILIATED SCHOOLS:

Senior instructors at SOMA regularly make trips and visits to other clubs to show students different skills. This is done at considerable personal cost, particularly when interstate airfares and accommodation have to be taken into account. But many of us do it because we love what we do and we want to help expand the knowledge of others.
