Joong Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do:

In WESTERN AUSTRALIA and QUEENSLAND:

In the words of Chief Instructor, Colin Wee, 6th Dan:

“Joong Do Kwan is a small traditional Taekwondo school situated in Nedlands, Western Australia. The club has been operating since 2000.

Our lineage was brought out of Korea in the mid-1950’s by Grand Master Jhoon Rhee. The most senior practitioner of the style is now Grand Master Keith Yates, 10th Dan, based in the US.

JDK trains by applying traditional techniques, assuming resistance and possible failure, and seeks to recover where possible.”

Colin has practiced three systems in three continents over the last four decades.
