National Karate Academies (NKA) operate in many states of Australia but its main base is in Adelaide, South Australia. The NKA teaches an eclectic style of martial arts called Miranda Kai, so named after its founder Professor Steve Miranda, 10th Dan. Steve is ably supported by Craig Smith, Hanshi, 9th Dan and a number of other senior instructors.
