Lilac Moon Tai Chi:

In VICTORIA and TASMANIA:

Lilac Moon Tai Chi was founded by Patricia Kent. The main club is based in the rural township of Trentham, Victoria. And there are several clubs in Tasmania too.

Patricia also runs classes at community centres and halls in the neighbouring towns of Ballan, Gisborne and Kyneton.

Patricia was born in England in 1946 and emigrated to Australia in 1968. She lives a quiet but active life in Trentham, Central Victoria, teaching and training in Tai Chi and Qigong.

Patricia’s love of martial arts began at age 5 when her father took her to the dojo (training hall) in London where he trained in Judo.

Patricia’s journey in tai chi and related arts began over 30 years ago with the Australian Federation of Wu Style Tai Chi Inc. She furthered her studies of martial arts with a very strenuous year in Kentokan Karate.

Patricia has trained extensively with Master Liu Wan Chun in Melbourne, Master Wang Zie Ping in Yangshuo, China and Grand Master Lu in Bei Dai He, China. She regularly travels overseas to further her knowledge and ability.

Tai Chi has become a way of life for Patricia. She hopes to spread the knowledge and benefits of this gentle martial art for many more years.
